Verve Internet Solutions was founded in 1996 (originally called MRB Communications) to improve the Internet presences of higher education institutions. Founder/President Leanne Bergey was instrumental in developing the University of Pennsylvania's first web presence in the early 1990s, and had determined a need in the higher education market for sophisticated, highly interactive websites.
In the late 1990s, Verve branched out from working solely with higher education to the broader education field, particularly with independent schools. As word about the high quality of Verve's work spread across educational institutions, other nonprofit organizations began seek our advice and assistance with their web presences. Once again, we recognized an unmet need – to help agencies in human services, retirement and aging services, philanthropy, healthcare, and other mission-focused fields develop the most sophisticated and effective web presences possible.
As Verve began working with a greater variety of organizations, we were struck by how many faced similar challenges. Each client was seeking ways to enhance their online presence and provide more effective service for their stakeholders. Verve developed the VerveSuite™ of solutions to address these needs – providing easy-to-administer, cost-effective products that offer the kind of interactive, user-centered experience our clients' constituents had come to expect.
Today, Verve is an industry leader in creating sophisticated online presences for the mission-based market. From basic web design and development, to the development of customized online software, we work in partnership with our clients to bring their missions to life online. Verve's advantage is in the team approach – every client benefits from receiving service from a team of experts, including strategic communications consultants, technical consultants, web designers and developers, and custom application developers.
