Verve Presents “Uniquely Nonprofit: Seven Online Habits of Highly Effective Nonprofits” to Women’s Business Forum in Doylestown, PA

Doylestown, PA – October 3, 2007

With over 70% of Americans now online, there can be little doubt that the Internet is the most effective way to reach people.  But for nonprofits that don’t have full-time staff dedicated to website development, the resources involved in using the Internet effectively can seem daunting.

That’s where Verve comes in.  On October 3, Executive Vice President Dottie Schindlinger will present “Uniquely Nonprofit: Seven Online Habits of Highly Effective Nonprofits,” a session designed to teach nonprofits cost-effective ways to utilize online technologies.  The session is being hosted for Bucks County, PA-area nonprofits by the Women’s Business Forum of Doylestown.

“Since Verve Internet Solutions works primarily with nonprofits, we are used to thinking creatively about ways our clients can use online tools to help meet their missions,” said Schindlinger.  “We make the most of open-source technologies to create nonprofit websites that are as sophisticated and effective as possible – while staying within budget limitations.”

The Women’s Business Forum is a nonprofit organization providing support, mentoring and inspiration to women entrepreneurs. This session was developed to provide educational opportunities for area nonprofit organizations – many of which were founded and are run by women.
